Super Simple Rules (for kids)

1. Basic Rules

• Players: 2 to 4 people

• Roles: King Shadow or Shadow Servant (pick randomly)

• Lose: If you have 0 hearts, you are out

• Win: Reach your goal

2. Your Role

King Shadow

• Move: 3 steps each turn

• Start with: 4 cards

• Hearts: 5

• Goal: Beat everyone

Shadow Servant

• Move: 2 steps each turn

• Start with: 6 cards

• Hearts: 3

• Goal: Beat everyone
OR Beat 4 guards and get to the center

3. Board & Actions

• 3 gold coins on the board

• Step on gold: draw 1 extra card, then coin moves

• King Shadow cannot attack guards

4. What Cards Do

• Attack: hurt 1 player (block with 1 Defense)

• Defense: block 1 attack

• Finisher: always hits (can’t block)

• Steal: take 1 card from someone

• Discard: make someone drop 1 card

• Soul Skill: make someone lose 2 hearts

• Weapons: make attack stronger

5. Simple Card Rules

• Normal cards: target 1 player only

• Skill cards: need 2 Defense to block

• Block rules:

◦ Normal attack: 1 Defense

◦ Skill/weapon: 2 Defense

◦ Finisher: can’t block
